Physical Traits
The Numbat had short stiff reddish brown hair, and towards the end of its back it had black and white stripes. As well as a long bushy tail and rounded tip ears. A dark pointed nose, very long tongue, and strong front claws.
The females usually way about 305-647g. Her length is about 20-27cm. Along with the tail being 14-22cm. Then there is the male, which ways about 405-752g. Its body length 22-29cm long, and his tail is about 12-21cm long.

Behavior
First of all the male and female are never seen together. They may share the same habitat, but are never together. Normally the male is off doing his own thing, for instance getting food. And then the female is as well getting food, but also taking care of her young. The female Numbat gives birth to about four babies. The female does not have a pouch, unlike most of the marsupials, but she does have long belly hair that keep her young warm and protected.
